Developing functional genomic approaches for early detection and therapeutic biomarkers in cancer patients through next-generation sequencing and informatics. Investigating inherited monogenic disorders, genetic hematological disorders, and rare diseases using genomic approach such as Sanger sequencing, targeted gene panel sequencing, whole exome sequencing, clinical exome sequencing, transcriptomics, DNA methylation analysis, and metagenomics.
Ravi Bhushan holds an MSc and PhD in Molecular and Human Genetics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). His research focuses on gynaecological cancers, with a particular emphasis on genomic alterations and their implications for disease mechanisms, biomarker discovery, and targeted therapeutic strategies.
Prachi Gupta has joined as a PhD scholar and holds an MSc in Forensic Science from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Her research interests include cancer biology, molecular oncology, and the diagnosis and prognostic evaluation of cancer and its precursor lesions, with experience in both clinical and laboratory-based research.
Arunima Dhurve is a junior research assistant with a background in life sciences, specializing in molecular biology and genomics. She completed her Master of Science in Molecular and Human Genetics from the University of Lucknow (LU). Her research interests focus on understanding molecular alterations in cancer and translating them into clinically relevant diagnostic strategies.
Ashutosh Yadav completed his master's degree in zoology from Shibli National College. He has joined as a PhD scholar, and his research interests lie in genomics and cell signaling, where he aims to understand how diseases develop and progress at the molecular level.
Pragati Yadav is currently pursuing an MSc in Biotechnology from Dr Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University. She has joined as a dissertee and is working on the molecular characterization of pathogenic variants in the HBB gene associated with beta-thalassemia.
